Terrace systems – Folding door
Redan aluminium

External folding door provides a lot of freedom to its users. Owing to these doors, you can easily take the advantage of favourable weather conditions and almost literally eliminate the barrier between the interior of the building and its surroundings.

Such a door therefore can make a perfect wide passage from the house to the terrace or they can be used in the season to connect a cafe or restaurant with its outdoor area.

The MB-86 FOLD LINE system is a very convenient solution in everyday use and at the same time it has high technical parameters and allows to construct large structures. Folding doors can be opened both to the outside and inside of a building, and any configuration of their leaves is possible. It is a modern product designed to meet the high requirements of users, architects, and investors.

Folding system advantages:

  • three-chamber, durable aluminium sections with the structural depth of 86 mm for frames and 77 mm for door leaves
  • central chamber of sections equipped with 24 mm wide thermal breaks for frames (and 34 mm for door leaves) translates directly into high thermal insulation properties of the structure
  • MB-86 FOLD LINE system dedicated hardware ensures comfortable operation of door leaves with a maximum weight of 100 kg
  • large possible dimensions of the structure allow to construct doors with a leaf height up to 2 700 mm and width of up to 1 000 mm
  • different versions of threshold solutions: classic solution with a frame sealing or a convenient in use low threshold
  • a large range of glazing (from 14.0 mm to 61.5 mm) allows the use of both single and double-chamber packages, including specialist packages: with increased acoustic insulation or resistance to burglary
  • significant scope of compatibility of structures constructed in MB-86 FOLD LINE system with the renowned and valued ALUPROF MB-86 window and door system: the same joining profiles as in MB-86 with many profiles, sealings, and accessories shared by both systems
